The Magnificat has occupied an important place in the Liturgy of the Church since around the fourth century – but here we have a play on words to sing the praises of a magnificent cat. The cat sits proudly on a background of richly interwoven flowers, based on 15th century “Mille Fleur” tapestries. This pretty and highly intricate terracotta tile is perfect for the owners of that very superior cat.
