This is brilliant! My granddad began an Owl and the Pussycat hobby after his sister died this year to cheer himself up. He's getting it translated by his friends and relations into over twenty languages, so he's going to love this tile. And being 98, he's tricky to buy for, he doesn't want much! So thanks a lot!

I was delighted to purchase the Angel Piper tile in St Giles Cathedral shop recently and thought you might be interested in this. My grandfather, Louis Reid Deuchars (1870-1927) made the angel model from which the oak carving was made. In fact, he made the models for all the figures which were carved in wood or stone for the Thistle Chapel. So, I found it rather amusing that his angel is now immortalised in terracotta.

A neighbour of mine has one of your plaques, and I loved it!
