I first found this tile several years ago through the National Cathedral catalogue. On a choir tour in 2006 we stopped in Wells Cathedral and saw your display. But I remembered your name. This time I'm ordering enough to last a while.

I was delighted to purchase the Angel Piper tile in St Giles Cathedral shop recently and thought you might be interested in this. My grandfather, Louis Reid Deuchars (1870-1927) made the angel model from which the oak carving was made. In fact, he made the models for all the figures which were carved in wood or stone for the Thistle Chapel. So, I found it rather amusing that his angel is now immortalised in terracotta.

I have been to your wonderful shop and much of your great work adorns my home. I am leaving my present employ and wanted to give something unique to my colleagues to remember me by.
