We make a unique range of relief tiles in natural terracotta which are full of detail and texture. The tiles are designed by prominent artist/designer Philippa Threlfall, who has been making murals and tiles in relief ceramic for many years. Most of the designs incorporate a blessing or text and are usually based on traditional and historical themes. They are collected by many people and make excellent presents.

Each tile is made in red clay using a unique process and hand finished before being carefully dried and fired to over 1100°C in a kiln. This high temperature makes the terracottas frost resistant, which means they can be hung outside in patios and gardens. Hanging holes are provided on each terracotta.

Each tile is approximately 4 inches (10 cm) across and is mounted on thick blue card for a traditional look or cream card for a contemporary look. They are presented in a polypropylene slip case and a descriptive card is included with each piece.
